We are pleased to announce that Cymbiosis has been appointed as a dealer for REL Acoustics products.

REL Acoustics designs and builds specialised sub-bass systems. It doesn’t build loudspeakers, it only builds sub-bass systems.

Linn LP12 Klinik + 10% off offer!

An LP12 Klinik provides a fantastic opportunity to listen to and compare a wide range of turntable accessories, right up to Linn’s reference LP12 SE upgrades.

With each LP12 SE upgrade delivering a revelation in performance in its own right, it’s hard to imagine the breathtaking experience that results with the combination of parts, so come along and listen and let your ears decide.

During the Klinik you will have a chance to bring along your own turntable to discuss relevant changes with an LP12 expert and compare your own deck with our reference system.  It is also advisable to take the opportunity to get your turntable serviced at this time.

The Klinik takes place here on Friday and Saturday, 29th and 30th August 2008 between 10.00am and 5.30pm.

Arcam chose the recent High End show in Munich to announce full details of it's new stereo product line-up.
All Arcam stereo separates will now be offered as part of the FMJ range meaning more substantial case parts and a longer product warranty. Featuring a number of exciting new technologies and astonishing sound quaility, the new line-up represents the stongest Arcam stereo offering ever.

Cymbiosis are pleased to say that we now have the new FMJ range on display and available for demonstration.
Having spent some time listening to them, we are delighted to tell you that they offer a superbly involving musical experience.

Leading the range is the CD37 CD Player, which has the advantage of SACD replay for those looking for the highest qaulity CD reproduction.
At the other end the A18 Audiophile Integrated Amplifier represents an ideal introduction to true hi-fi amplification. Why not come and hear them now.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Cymbiosis will be hosting the Naim Summer Sounds Roadshow on Tuesday 10th June 2008.

As previously indicated, this will be featuring three Naim products. The foremost of these will be the launch of the Naim HDX Hard-Disk Music Player.

Naim’s first ever hard disk player recognises the growing importance of downloads in the audiophile’s everyday experience. The HDX is a performance music player in every sense of the word, with the added flexibility and convenience that digital music devices provide.
Bit-perfect copies of your music are securely stored, extensively catalogued and easily selected at the touch of a button for high performance replay. HDX heralds a new era in digital replay bringing you even closer to your music collection.

Also being demonstrated will be the Naim SuperLine reference phono stage and the Naim Power-Line mains cable. Vinyl fans will revel in the SuperLine's luscious sounds, whilst the custom-designed Power-Line will offer a significant upgrade to any hi-fi system.

Representatives from Naim will be on hand during the event to talk you through the products’ designs and explain the engineering behind their distinctive sound.

This is advance notice that we shall be holding another Naim open day very shortly. This should be very exciting as we will be demonstrating three of Naims latest products, one of which has not even been released yet and which many of you may not even be aware of!
Watch this space for more news soon and a confirmed date - don't miss it!

As mentioned below, we recently added Leema Acoustics Antila CD Player and Tucana Integrated amplifier to our product range.

We have now expanded that to include the Xone miniature floorstanding loudspeaker and also the Xero mini-monitor. To describe the Xeros as in the mould of the Rogers LS3/5a speakers would not be surprising, as the founders of Leema Acoustics were both formerly BBC engineers!

We are absolutely delighted at the performance from these speakers, which will fit unobtrusively into the modern home. On demonstration now.

At last, it's here! The Naim Superline phono stage has arrived and is available for demonstration. Please form an orderly queue! Seriously though, this is one of the most eagerly anticipated products we have had for a long time. The reaction on the open day we held was fantastic, with an overall thumbs up and smiles all round. So to hear what all the fuss has been about, you can now book your own personal demonstration here at Cymbiosis. We've included a couple of pictures alongside of our demonstration model so that you can see how beautifully put together the Superline is. Call us now to see and hear it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

We have had a lot of enquiries recently about the Naim price increase on April 1st this year.
Well, we have now received the official price list from Naim and you can see the new prices for yourselves by clicking HERE.

It is worth pointing out that the Naim 500 Series will now be supplied with the new Power-Line mains lead as standard, which is why at first, the increase looks larger than one may have expected.

Current prices will still be honoured as long as you place your order by 31st March. Just about everything in the Naim product range is available for demonstration here, so you can have a listen before you place your order.

This an early notification that a new speaker will be making its appearance here at Cymbiosis in early April.
This amazing looking loudspeaker, which is pictured alongside, was one of the big hits at the recent Bristol show. It's from Rountree Acoustics who are based in Cambridge and is called the OmniMon.

The OmniMon concept provides a unique link between two previously diametrically opposed loudspeaker design concepts: It combines the sense of scale, depth and freedom from ‘boxiness’ of a large panel speaker with the detail and focus of a small ‘point source’ speaker.

The intention is to provide this unique performance combination in a format that fits comfortably into any normal domestic listening room.
The resulting loudspeakers may be unusual, but Rountree think they achieve a combination of low colouration, focus, detail and natural dynamics that has not been heard before – at any price.

New from Focal-JMlab, we have a fantastic looking and sounding satellite and subwoofer speaker package. Named the Dome (obvious why when you see them) they are available in various combinations, a 2.1 consisting of one pair of satellites plus a subwoofer, a 5.1 full cinema package or the 2.0, which is the satellites on their own.
Coming from Focal you would expect a serious level of reproduction and you will not be disappointed. Despite their small size, these are full range speakers, which are capable of excellent music reproduction as well as stunning cinema performance.
Finished in gloss black with white to follow soon, the 2.1 package, priced at £999.00, is on demonstration now.

A complete turntable with a unique heritage, the Majik LP12 will appeal to anyone who is passionate about music, but especially those people - young and old alike - who are relishing the vinyl renaissance.

The original SONDEK LP12 revolutionised the hi-fi industry and remains the benchmark by which all turntables are judged today. MAJIK LP12 now gives more people access to a genuine design icon and Linn-quality vinyl reproduction.

The Majik LP12 comes as a complete package but is also fully compatible with all LP12 components to offer a full range of performance upgrade paths. It comprises:

Further to our update below regarding the Naim annual price rise, we now have the new price list available. The Power-Line mains cable is confirmed at £395.00 but will come as standard with the 500 series products. Despite some material prices having risen by up to 20%, Naim have kept their own price rises to around about that of the current inflation figure. For those of you considering a Naim purchase at the moment, you can beat the price rise by ordering before 31st March 2008. Please contact us for more details or to place your order.

Latest addition to the Cymbiosis product range is Leema Acoustics. Leema Acoustics is a new name in the hi-fi world, but one that has been known and trusted by many in professional audio circles for over thirty years. Beginning with a miniature loudspeaker design for professional monitoring, they have now expanded to manufacturing a highly regarded electronics range, which includes a CD player, phono stage and amplification.
Initial products on demonstartion here will be the Antila CD Player and the Tucana Integrated Amplifier. Watch out for more from Leema in the future.
