New from Focal-JMlab, we have a fantastic looking and sounding satellite and subwoofer speaker package. Named the Dome (obvious why when you see them) they are available in various combinations, a 2.1 consisting of one pair of satellites plus a subwoofer, a 5.1 full cinema package or the 2.0, which is the satellites on their own.
Coming from Focal you would expect a serious level of reproduction and you will not be disappointed. Despite their small size, these are full range speakers, which are capable of excellent music reproduction as well as stunning cinema performance.
Finished in gloss black with white to follow soon, the 2.1 package, priced at £999.00, is on demonstration now.

A complete turntable with a unique heritage, the Majik LP12 will appeal to anyone who is passionate about music, but especially those people - young and old alike - who are relishing the vinyl renaissance.
The original SONDEK LP12 revolutionised the hi-fi industry and remains the benchmark by which all turntables are judged today. MAJIK LP12 now gives more people access to a genuine design icon and Linn-quality vinyl reproduction.

Further to our update below regarding the Naim Audio annual price rise, we now have the new price list available. The Power-Line mains cable is confirmed at £395.00 but will come as standard with the 500 series products. Despite some material prices having risen by up to 20%, Naim have kept their own price rises to around about that of the current inflation figure. For those of you considering a Naim purchase at the moment, you can beat the price rise by ordering before 31st March 2008. Please contact us for more details or to place your order.

Latest addition to the Cymbiosis product range is Leema Acoustics. Leema Acoustics is a new name in the hi-fi world, but one that has been known and trusted by many in professional audio circles for over thirty years. 
Beginning with a miniature loudspeaker design for professional monitoring, they have now expanded to manufacturing a highly regarded electronics range, which includes a CD player, phono stage and amplification.
Initial products on demonstartion here will be the Antila CD Player and the Tucana Integrated Amplifier. Watch out for more from Leema in the future.

Just a quick reminder to anyone who may be considering buying a product from the Naim range, that the annual Naim price increase will come into effect on April 1st this year as usual. As long as we can get your order in before this date, you will benefit from the pre-increase price. So if you want to improve your system and save money, then now is the time to do it!
Talking of Naim, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mark from Naim for bringing the Superline Phono Stage up for our recent open day and patiently fielding all the enquiries from those who attended. Everyone was blown away by the Superline as our pre-production order book now testifies to. A bonus was also being able to hear for the first time, the Power-Line Mains Lead, which Naim will be introducing in the near future. It seems from the reaction that this product will be at least as popular as the Hi-line interconnect, but don't worry as we have plenty on order for as soon as they are released. There's about to be a "little addition" to the Arcam Solo family - get ready to welcome the Solo Mini...
Building on the original Solo music system but in a smaller form factor, the Solo mini provides premium performance in a discrete and stylish unit. An ideal partner with the Muso speakers, the Solo Mini system features a CD player, radio tuner (FM/DAB or FM/AM) and iPod interface using the rDock or rLead. In addition a front panel USB input allows USB memory devices to be played (MP3 and WMA files supported).
Using sophisticated circuitry taken from higher priced Arcam components, the sound quality available from the Solo mini system is without equal at the price.
The Solo Mini should be with us shortly, priced at £650.00 without speakers. We'll announce it's arrival here on the news page as soon as we get it.

Finally, after months of rumour and conjecture, it's great to be able to announce that the Naim Superline phono stage is imminent. In order that all those interested can get to hear it, we are holding an open day on Thursday February 7th when Mark from Naim will be here with a Superline which will be on demonstration for the whole day.
We will be playing the Superline with a variety of combinations, which will include four Linn Sondek LP12s with different arm and cartridge setups, from Linn, Naim and Dynavector. Preamplifier will be the NAC552, power amplifiers will be the NAP500 and/or the NAP300, speakers will be the SL2s and of course a Hicap and Supercap to power the Superline.
If you are interested, we would be grateful if you could let us know in advance so that we can ensure everyone will be able to have a relaxed demonstration.
We have some news, just in from Rega that they are producing a limited edition White Drive Belt for their range of turntables. These belts have been manufactured to the highest tolerance that Rega have ever achieved and guarantee precision and improved drive to the motor. Cost will be £22.00 each and we hope to have them available within a few days. Please check with us for availability and our first impressions!

Naim Supernait open day
Much anticipated, the Naim SUPERNAIT was finally launched at the 2007 Bristol Show and will soon be available here at Cymbiosis.
To celebrate the SUPERNAIT’s arrival, we will be holding an open day on Thursday 26th April 2007 when anyone can come along and experience the performance of this integrated amplifier for the 21st century. Mark from Naim will also be present throughout the day to answer any questions you may have.
Along with the superb musicality that we have come to expect from Naim, they have also addressed the connectivity that the today’s equipment demands.
With analogue inputs via both DIN and phono sockets, digital inputs via both coaxial and optical sockets, a combined digital optical/analogue front panel input and on-board re-clocked digital to analogue conversion, there's very little that SUPERNAIT can't handle.
As always, Naim are thinking ahead and the SUPERNAIT is upgradable and a power supply, power amplifier or even a phono stage can be added at any future time.

Following the launch of the Keel upgrade and the Ekos SE tonearm, there has been limited availability of both of these products. We are pleased to announce that, having cleared our backlog of initial orders, we now have the Keel, Ekos SE and the Trampolin baseboard available from stock.

Linn Klinik
After the success of the Linn Keel/Ekos SE demonstration days previously mentioned, we can now announce a two day Linn Klinik on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of March when we will fitting Keels and Ekos SE tonearms for those who wish to purchase either or both of these items. They will only be available on these two days and a waiting list will be in operation thereafter, so book for your upgrade now! Generous trade-ins will be on offer for standard Ekos arms.
We also hope to be carring out the comparison demonstrations again, so if you missed out last time please book your demonstration now.
Musicline Powerigel
We are now supplying the Musicline Powerigel mains distribution unit, which is distributed by Naim Audio.
It uses the same cable used by Naim and a special welding technique practically eliminates insertion loss, which is one of the main problems with conventional mains distribution units that use screw connections, while star wiring provides consistent sound quality for all components connected to the Powerigel.
It is available in three configurations: 6-way at £565, 8-way at £598, and 11-way at £632.

Further to the information below about the introduction of the Linn Keel, we are now delighted to announce that we will be having two demonstration days here at Cymbiosis, on Thursday 8th & Friday 9th of February 2007.
We will be featuring three decks, a current Sondek LP12 with the current Ekos tonearm, an LP12 with the Keel and current Ekos and then an LP12 with Keel and the new Ekos SE tonearm. We feel that this should be enough to show the upgrade path and the full potential of the new products.
The demo will be available throughout the days and Simon from Linn will be in attendance on Thursday, to answer any questions you may have. Tea, coffee and biccies will be available as always!
If you wish to come along, we would be grateful for a prior telephone call or email, so that we can establish how the days are going to progress. We expect them to be popular!

Linn built their reputation on the strength of their Sondek LP12 turntable being the ultimate in vinyl replay.
But they have never rested on their laurels and have continued to upgrade and improve the LP12, in order to extract ever more information from the humble twelve inch piece of black plastic.
With their latest upgrade, Linn take vinyl replay into whole new dimension, welcome to the Keel.
The Keel is new sub-chassis which also incorporates the armboard and is machined from one piece of solid aluminium. This single change brings dramatic improvements to the musicality and information retrieval from the deck and is, as always, retrofittable to all existing LP12s. The Keel is priced at £1950.00.
But that is not all! Because at the same time, Linn have announced the introduction of the Ekos tonearm, the Ekos SE. The Ekos SE features a titanium armtube and makes the perfect partner for the Keel, or just as an upgrade from your current tonearm. The Ekos SE is priced at £2950.00.
And as if that isn't enough, there is also a new baseboard, the Trampolin 2.

The new Naim Hi-line interconnect has met with an incredible reaction and take-up, and we are now pleased to let you know that we have stock available for sale for anyone wishing to make this easy and worthwhile upgrade.
After the demise of the Linn LK range, the first of the replacement products, the Majik range, have arrived. We have in stock the Majik Kontrol Preamplifier and the Majik 2100 Power Amplifier.
More news is that we are stocking two new loudspeaker ranges.
First one is the Utopia Be range from the French company, Focal-JM Labs. This is a no-compromise top-end range of speakers with a stunning sound reproduction that is finding particular favour with Naim owners. The looks and the finish of these speakers is top class and build quality is fantastic. Well worth an audition.
The second of the ranges is from Acoustic Reproduction Technology, or ART for short!
This is called the Stiletto Series and was developed after numerous requests for a small slim elegant loudspeaker that would sound far bigger than it actually is. And we think they have succeeded.
We have on demonstration, both the Stiletto (and you'll know why the name was chosen when you see it) at £995.00 a pair and its slightly bigger sibling, the Stiletto 6, at £1995.00 a pair.
So if space is at a premium but you don't want to compromise on sound quality, then the Stilettos should certainly be on your shortlist.
Great news for all you Naim aficianados - the new Naim 555 CD player has arrived, been run in and is now on demonstration at Cymbiosis.
We can't believe just how good it sounds and this has been echoed by all the lucky customers who have already heard it here for themselves.
We don't think we've ever had such a positive reaction to a new arrival before, and the orders we've taken already, despite the long lead times, speak volumes for its musical abilities!

As some of you may already be aware, Linn recently announced that the LK range of products has been discontinued. This includes the Ikemi, Genki, Pekin, Kolektor, LK85, LK140 and LK Tunebox. Products NOT affected are the Classik Music, Lingo, Linto and Intersekt.
In order to assist Linn owners who wanted to add to their current systems, we have been able to obtain a limited amount of certain of these models.
These include particularly, LK140 and LK85 power amplifiers, Ikemi and Genki CD players, Kolektor preamplifiers and a Pekin tuner.
Obviously, these will be on a “first come, first served” basis, so please contact us immediately if you would like to purchase any of these items.
Another recent announcement from Linn concerns the end of servicing on legacy products. Whilst Linn have always prided themselves on the longevity of their products and their service backup, as a result of advances in technology and a restricted parts supply, they are now limited in their ability to service certain of their products. Therefore, service for these products will cease in the next few months.
This includes, but is not restricted to, the Karik and Mimik CD players, LK100 power amplifier, Axis turntable and the Valhalla power supply for the LP12 turntable.
