The concept that the clients came to us with, was for this to be a home theatre and a games room.
They wanted a full high definition projector system capable of being used with a Playstation 3, an X-box 360 and  Nintendo Wii.
They also asked if it was possible to play the music that they had stored on their computer in this room.

THE INSTALLATION

The property was a new build and the developer had marketed this room as a multimedia environment. Unfortunately it had not been pre-wired as such! But as the room was at the top of the house, we were able to wire it with the minimum of disruption, much to the client's relief.

In order to obtain the correct throw distance for the requested projection system, we managed to instal the projector into a void above the doorway, which also made for a neat, unobtrusive installation.

Whilst installing the system to stream music from the computer, we also suggested and fitted i-Pod audio and video connectivity to further enhance the games room concept. We also suggested and fitted a lighting control system to complement the room.

The final touch was to provide remote control automation for the whole system, which even controlled the opening and closing of the blinds.
