Naim Audio unveils the brand new NAIT integrated amplifier range!

2013 is the 40th birthday of the iconic Salisbury based Naim Audio and the 30th birthday of probably their most iconic product of all time, the original Naim NAIT integrated amplifier. To celebrate both these anniversaries, Naim have unveiled the brand new NAIT range, the Naim NAIT 5si, NAIT XS 2 and SUPERNAIT 2, a complete range of integrated amplifiers which apply new technology to significantly improve performance and bring people closer to music.



The brand new SUPERNAIT 2 has had a range of updates and additions to bring it up to date and retain its place as one of the world’s most premier integrated amplifiers. The SUPERNAIT 2 features an increased transformer size (whilst power rating remains at 80W per channel), all digital inputs and DAC have been removed to allow focus on analogue sound quality and the Independent record output selection has been removed to improve sound quality.

The Naim SUPERNAIT also incorporates the new range of discrete regulators as well as a new ¼″ (6.35mm) headphone output and high-quality Class-A headphone amplifier (as in DAC-V1) Attention to detail is paramount with the new SUPERNAIT 2 and all inputs are individually decoupled and hand-wired for improved microphonic isolation (as per NAC 282 upwards).

The second generation Naim SUPERNAIT 2 builds upon the basis of the classic SUPERNAIT and takes the performance possibilities of an integrated amplifier to a whole other level.


As part of the Naim Audio birthday celebrations, the NAIT XS 2 also has a range of updates to bring it in line with the rest of the new NAIT range. The NAIT XS 2 benefits from an

Increased transformer size with uprated power from 60W to 70W per channel (into 8 ohms) as well as a new ¼″ (6.35mm) headphone output and high-quality Class-A headphone amplifier (as in DAC-V1).

The NAIT XS 2 also features constant current source circuit technique, originally introduced in NAC 552 preamplifier, to provide ultra-quiet drive signals for relays to improve sound quality. This partnered with ceramic heat sink isolation for improved sound quality on power and preamp section and a powered input for use with StageLine or SuperLine phono stages.

These updates build upon the original class leading NAIT XS and give you the ability to have a performance based slim line system perfect for the modern living room or dedicated listening room.

NAIT 5si

The Nait 5si is the direct replacement to the immensely popular Naim NAIT 5i integrated amplifier. As the entry level integrated amplifier, the NAIT 5si is the perfect stepping stone for people to get onto the first rung of the Naim ladder. The NAIT 5si builds upon its predecessor by incorporating an increased transformer with uprated power from 50W to 60W per channel (into 8 ohms).

This partnered with a custom-designed toroidal transformer with two separate windings and a new ¼″ (6.35mm) headphone output on front panel gives the NAIT 5si the ability to get the best out of any source that it is partnered with. The latest generation of the NAIT integrated amplifier range gives the user the flexibility and performance that has been expected and demanded of any product bearing the NAIT badge for the past 30 years.

Naim SUPERNAIT – £2750.00

Naim NAIT XS 2 – £1595.00

Naim NAIT 5si – £925.00
