he English Electric EE1 is a compact, self-powered network noise isolator from The Chord Company designed to reduce high- and low-frequency electrical interference in Ethernet streaming audio and video systems.
How It Works
  • In-Line Design: Sits discreetly between two Ethernet cables in your network path (typically between a network switch and an audio/video streamer). 

  • Passive / Self-Powered: Requires no external power supply; it converts unwanted high-frequency electrical noise energy into heat. 

  • Galvanic Isolation: Blocks low-frequency noise and reduces high-frequency interference without compromising digital data transmission speeds or signal integrity. 

  • Scalable: Multiple EE1 units can be placed across a single network (such as between the router and switch, or switch and streamer) for cumulative performance
