Peter visits clients in the US and Canada!

Posted by May 28th, 2013

As many of you will have seen from forum posts and photos on Facebook and Twitter, Peter has spent the past 3 weeks touring and visiting clients in the US and Canada. Peter took in New York, Chicago, Vancouver, and Toronto on his 4- city tour. Below we have an itinerary of his visit as well as a selection of pictures from his travels.

City 1 – New York

Peter departed from Heathrow and landed in New York ready to see the first of his clients. Client one is a client that Peter has visited a number of times before, during his visit Peter demonstrated the Tiger Paw Khan top plate for the LP12 Vs. the standard Linn top plate as well as the new Linn Kandid cartridge and the Sarum tuned ARAY cables for the Urika. The customer chose to have the Sarum for Urika and his KDS, as well as a Tiger Paw top plate. He’s very happy with the improvements they made. Below are a couple of pictures Peter took whilst he was in New York.

City 2 – Chicago

Next it was on to Chicago to visit three more clients! Peter has again visited this client before, setting up his LP12 in the past. This time Peter installed a Dynavector XV-1s replacing an XX2/2, and another set of Chord Company Sarum cables for the Urika following some demonstrations. Peter also looked after his third client, where he installed a Linn Ekos/SE, Keel, Cirkus, and Dynavector DV-20XL. Then it was onto see his fourth client who had a Cirkus kit and an Adikt cartridge installed, this was the perfect addition to his dedicated listening room with dedicated Harley-Davidson as you can see below!

City 3 – Vancouver

Then it was off to City 3, leaving the US behind it was on to Canada for Peter, next stop Vancouver to see another 3 clients. Peter’s fifth client had already purchased two dedicated LP12s for Peter to install whilst on his visit. The first LP12 was made up of a Chris Harban Woodsong Audio Wenge plinth, Ekos/SE, Tiger Paw Khan, Keel, Radikal and Urika. His second LP12 was made up of another Ekos/SE, a Ribikon sub-chassis, Tiger Paw top plate and Lingo 3. Then it was on to meet up with his sixth and seventh clients where Peter installed a Radikal power supply and did a full rebuild of one LP12, as well as installing a Trampolin2 and a DV-20XL on the other. Once the hard work was done, it was time to see some of the sights of Vancouver and nearby Seattle with some of the clients. Peter was lucky enough to visit the Boeing factory in Seattle and also managed to find some time to fit some eagerly anticipated record shopping in as well, before heading off to his final destination.

Peters final stop was in Toronto to visit his eighth client! Here Peter installed a full LP12 comprising of a Chris Harban Woodsong Audio Mexican Cocobolo plinth, a Tiger Paw top plate and Skale, Aro Keel, Radikal and Urika with the client’s Dynavector Tk Rua cartridge. Then once again after the work was done, Peter was able to explore some of the sights of Toronto, a trip up the CN tower as well as visiting the world famous Niagara Falls were the highlights. You can see a couple of photos of Peter’s visit to Toronto below.

As you can tell overall, Peter had a very successful trip to the US and Canada seeing and helping eight different clients with their LP12s and getting the very best out of their systems too!
