Naim Audio Price Increase

Posted by January 18th, 2020

Naim Audio have just announced that their prices will increase from 1st February 2020.

Prices will be held on some products including Supernait 3, Nait XS 3 and the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb second generation wireless music systems.

On average Naim products and accessories have attracted a suggested increase of approximately 5%. These increases are reflective of Naim’s increased costs and, where possible, they have absorbed higher costs in order to remain competitive in the market.

So, anyone who is thinking of upgrading or adding to their Naim system, you will need to act quickly to be able to purchase at the current prices. Please contact us now to book any demonstrations or to place an order.

In other news from Naim, they have just announced the imminent arrival of native Qobuz support for their award-winning music streaming family.

The Qobuz update will be available this month for owners of:

  • Uniti Atom, Star and Nova all-in-one systems.
  • ND5 XS2, NDX 2 and ND 555 network players.

An update for Naim Mu-so 2nd Generation and Naim Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation wireless music systems will follow in Spring 2020. In the meantime, owners of the Mu-so range can enjoy Qobuz in up to 24bit/96kHz quality via Chromecast.

The update is enabled via a free over-the-air firmware upgrade which will allow Naim owners to enjoy seamless access to Qobuz streaming services – including true high-resolution streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz quality – from within the Naim control app.

Qobuz offers the most comprehensive CD-quality music catalogue currently available and the largest selection of albums in true high-resolution studio quality. Its streaming services are currently available in 12 countries, including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

To enjoy Qobuz streaming services, you will need a Qobuz subscripton: 30-day free trials will be available via a link in the Naim control app, which is available for iOS and Android devices.
