Well, it’s certainly flown by here, as we celebrate four years to the day that we opened the doors of our new home, here in Rearsby.

It was not without some trepidation, after spending 24 years in our previous location at Hotel Street in Leicester city centre, that we wondered if people would seek us out in our new home.

The birthday party, which was held on Wednesday 25^th was a great success with both sessions being well attended by expectant LP12 enthusiasts. Not sure whether that was because of the two birthday cakes in the shape of the LP12, or to listen to the real thing playing!

Peter has been on his travels again, visiting both New York and Cincinnati and this time took the opportunity to take along his partner Alison.

This made for a slightly more relaxed trip than usual, with Peter visiting four clients to set up their Sondek LP12 turntables, which included fitting Harban plinths, Linn Radikal Urikas and a Tiger Paw Tranquility.

…and no, we’re not referring to Peter! In fact, this is a quote from What Hi-Fi? magazine who have just reviewed the current Linn Klimax LP12 turntable and despite it’s venerable age, have given it a glowing review and endorsement as one of the finest turntables around.
