Based in the UK, Scotland, Fyne Audio boasts sound experience and expertise across their design and manufacturing team.

Meet the Fi SeriesFyne Audio F1-5 Loudspeakers

The F1-5 takes the same technology as the larger F1-8 sibling, distilling it into a neat bookshelf speaker design. The hand crafted cabinet is supported on compact machined aluminium plinth that houses Fyne’s state of the art BassTrax LF diffuser. Surrounded by FyneFlute rubber surround, the F1-5 features a 125mm IsoFlare low frequency driver mated to a 19mm magnesium dome compression tweeter to create a point source, time aligned transducer delivering pure isotropic radiation across the entire audio spectrum. Hand finished with care at Fyne Audio’s UK manufacturing facility in stunning real walnut veneer with burr walnut inlay, the F1-5 is the pinnacle of UK Hi-Fi loudspeaker design distilled into a sumptuous compact bookshelf speaker design.

Fyne Audio F501 LoudspeakerThe 500 Series

The F500 Series is based around an IsoFlare point source drive unit; technology which Fyne Audio’s Technical Director, Dr. Paul Mills, is reknown for. Their technical team, responsible for the audio performance and mechanical build of this type of driver, have many decades of experience between them. Combining Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare driver into a rigid cabinet, with a cleverly designed porting system, ensures optimal in-room Hi-Fi performance.

Floor standing models in the F500 Series use a rigid MDF plinth with large floor coupling spikes giving stability to ensure well-controlled bass performance and further enhancing stereo imaging. Additionally, the spikes can be adjusted from above the plinth allowing easier levelling of the speaker. The cabinets are crafted using real wood veneers and are available in choice of Dark Oak, Black Oak, Piano Gloss Black and Piano Gloss White.

Point Source Technology

Point source driver technology is not new to Fyne Audio. Their technical team, responsible for the audio performance and mechanical build of the driver, have many decades of experience between them. Fyne Audio’s proprietary IsoFlare design ensures constant directivity of the wave front generated, providing outstanding stereo imaging, even off axis.

Furthermore, a smooth and extended response is delivered thanks to the highly rigid titanium high frequency diaphragm which pushes the break-up mode well above the level of human hearing.

Special Production

Special Production (SP) models distil some of Fyne’s best components and engineering into a unique loudspeaker, optimised by their Technical Director Dr Paul Mills and hand built in the UK by their Special Projects team.

Improving on the F502, the SP edition uses the premium 200mm (8in) IsoFlare driver and 200mm (8in) bass/mid driver from the F702, featuring rigid multi-fibre cones and FyneFlute roll surrounds. The IsoFlare’s 25mm magnesium compression tweeter has a unique HF wave guide pole piece delivering an incredibly even, full-range frequency response and outstanding musical imaging.

The F502SP also benefits from the F700’s advanced crossover components and aluminium sandwich type plinth with BassTrax tractrix profile bass diffuser, re-engineered to precisely tune the F502SP’s more compact cabinet. The result is a stunning, bespoke addition to the F500 series, available in high-gloss black and high gloss white as standard, or in a new, luxurious deep gloss lacquered walnut veneer with diamond machine cut finish on the aluminium chassis.
